MASALA DOSA

introduction:-

            Masala dosa is one of the most popular south indian breakfast dishes served in restaurants and tiffin centeres. Dosa is also a great source of healthy carbohydrates.

 


 How To Make A Crispy Masala Dosa :

        Masala  dosa  is  a  South  Indian  dish.  It  was  an  easy   and popular ,tasty  South  Indian  stable  breakfast  recipe  made  with  rice  and urad dal. Basically  an  extension  of  the  traditional  dosa  recipe,  where  dosa  is  made  crip  and stuffed  with  potato  masala.  It  is  perhaps  one  of  the famous  dishes  from  south  Indain,  which  can  be  served  for  morning  breakfast  or  also  as  evening  snack  with coconut  chutney  and sambar.

                    

                  South  Indian  recpies  are  know  for  healthy     and  steamed rice   based  breakfast  recipes. These  generally  fall  into  either  the  dosa idli  category  which  in  turn  has  many  varieties  with  subtle  varitations.  Under  the  dosa  category,  the  most  popula  variation  is  masala  dosa  served  with  a choice  of  coconut chutney  and  spicy  sambar.

   How to make masala dosa

prepare and make the batter :-

1. Add half cup urad dal, 3 tablespoons chana dal and half teaspoon methi seeds to a large pot or bolw. it just 30 mins before blending the better.

2. Also measure 1/2 cups raw rice. add them to another large bowl.

3. Wash and soak them seprately for 4 to 5 hours.

4. Drain water from dal. Add dal , methi amd rice to a blender jar with 1/4 cup water and slat as needed.


5. Blend them to a batter that is frothy and bubbly. the batter must not be very thick or very must not be very thick or very runny at this stage.

6. Transfer that to a blow.

7. Mix everything well.

8. Cover and allow to ferment in a warm place for 6 to 16 hours depending on your climate or temperature.

9. Let's go to next stage to make potato masala.

10. Ingredients

 ■  1 pinch asafeotida

 ■  2 chilli, green

 ■  1 tbsp coriander, leaves

 ■  1 onion, medium size

 ■  2 size potatoes, big

   1 tsp giner paste

   1 tsp lemon juice

   1/2 tsp mustard seed

   1 tsp salt

   1/4 tsp turmeric, powder

    Olis & vinegars

  2 tbsp oli

  1 tsp cumin seeds

  1 tsp curry, leaves

 ■ 1 tsp chana dal

 ■ 1 tsp urad dal

 ■ 1 tbsp water or add a required
